Ulster rugby have finally announced the identification of the new CEO.
In a fanfare of publicity UR introduced Mr Shane Logan to the press at a buzzing media event in Ravenhill, as only befitting of the biggest sporting franchise in Northern Ireland.
Providing no pictures and no meaningful profile of the new incumbent Ulster Rugby did manage to wheel out Cecil Watson who appearing as “Young Mr Grace” commented, “You’re all doing very well.”
Really and seriously an incredibly poor performance as the announcement was slipped out with a level of enthusiasm that is usually reserved by the UR PR machine for publicising a URSC event.
The speculation that the announcement was made early because of, well, speculation on an obscure message board is surely a measure of how out of touch with reality UR are if a few peeved punters over on the UAFC are now calling the shots.
Welcome aboard Mr Logan, you should now have some idea of the size of the task ahead. Yes indeed!

Maybe it’s what wasn’t discovered in the Google search is more worrying.
