Ulster have named an unchanged starting XV for tomorrow afternoon’s Heineken Cup game against Edinburgh at Murrayfield. KO 3:45pm.
There are no surprises in the match day panel with, stylish second row, Dan Tuohy the only addition with Neil McComb being the unlucky player dropping out of the 23.
Ulster: (1-8) Tom Court, Andy Kyriacou, Brendon Botha, Ed O’Donoghue, Ryan Caldwell, Stephen Ferris, Willie Faloon, Robbie Diack. (15-9) Clinton Schifcofske, Timoci Nagusa, Darren Cave, Paddy Wallace (capt), Andrew Trimble, Ian Humphreys, Isaac Boss. (16-23) Nigel Brady, Bryan Young, Declan Fitzpatrick, Dan Tuohy, Chris Henry, Paul Marshall, Ian Whitten, Simon Danielli.
Edinburgh: (1-8) Kyle Traynor, Ross Ford, Geoff Cross, Steve Turnbull, Scott MacLeod, Alan MacDonald, Roddy Grant, Allister Hogg. (15-9) Chris Paterson, Mark Robertson, Nick De Luca, John Houston, Tim Visser, Phil Godman, Mike Blair (capt). (16-23) Andrew Kelly, Allan Jacobsen, David Young, Craig Hamilton, Scott Newlands, Greig Laidlaw, Ben Cairns, Steve Jones.
As things ratchet up for this game and the exodus of thousands of Ulster supporters begins there is certainly a growing feeling of anticipation amongst Ulster’s fans.
By all accounts it looks as though there are going to be as many Ulster supporters at this game as Scots and after the previous meeting this season, where Ulster completely outplayed their opponents, it should be a game where Ulster gain revenge for their earlier defeat.
Edinburgh have not got close to the intensity they displayed during that game at Ravenhill and after two heavy defeats they are going to find it hard to lift their game to cope with the expected onslaught from the confident Red Hand men.
So while others may predict a tight game The FRU confidently predicts a comparatively easy win for Ulster with the bonus point bagged after the first half hour.
For those of you not able to make it Murrayfield there’s no need to miss out on the big match atmosphere. Get yourself along to the Rosetta Bar for an afternoon of Heineken Cup rugby. Details here.

I would put good money on it that there will be a hell of a lot MORE Ulster supporters, than Embra….and what’s more we’ll out-sing them, out-drink them and in Flat-Top’s case – out-dance them….All together now…”My old man said be an Ulster fan….etc”

I’m trying to remember the FRU’s previous predictions and get a bit nervous about a big win prediction, for Ulster!
I’ll hedge the bets and park previous form and reckon that we might sneak it in injury time.

As I’ve predicted a bonus point win for Ulster in every game this season I’m not doing too bad!
