ulster120 Ulster have named the team for Connacht and it’s pretty much as expected with the only exceptions being Court in for Young, with Young being rested after a busy start to the season, and McComb on the subs bench in place of Anderson which is fair enough.

As predicted Paddy Wallace starts at centre, the main surprise being he has been awarded the captaincy in an interesting development. Hopefully the extra responsibility will sit comfortably on Paddy’s shoulders and we’ll see him back to his best after last weeks game!

Henry joins a strong bench making way for the specialist Diack at Number 8 and all in all it is a squad that should be more than capable of getting a significant result in Galway.  While in no way under estimating our Western hosts the FRU predict a comfortable win in a high scorning game with the bonus point being wrapped up in the first half.

I’m off to Galway in the next couple of hours but for those of you that can’t make the trip please remember that the match will be shown live and uninterrupted in The Rosie. Chairman Kimble of the URSC will be hosting the free draw at the end of the match for two pair of match tickets for the Bath game (no doubt watched closely by Ballpark and Holywood Mike) so get along and roar the boys on in the company of like minded fans.

Our sponsor sportstrolley.com will also be at the Rosie with the 2009 –2010 official Ulster kit so get along and bag yourself a bargain.
