ulster120 Ulster have named a 24 man squad for the Connacht game in Galway on Friday night.

FORWARDS: Nigel Brady, Brendon Botha, Bryan Young, Ed O’Donoghue, Andy Kyriacou, Dan Tuohy, Robbie Diack, Chris Henry, Stephen Ferris, Willie Faloon, Thomas Anderson, Neil McComb , Tom Court, Declan Fitzpatrick

BACKS: Timoci Nagusa, Darren Cave, Andrew Trimble, Simon Danielli, Ian Whitten, Paul Marshall, Isaac Boss, Ian Humphreys, Paddy Wallace, Clinton Schifcofske

Willis is the only casualty in the backs with Marshall coming in to the squad to replace him and there will be some interesting decisions at centre and wing when the starting XV is announced. Though it is highly likely that McLaughlin will start with the same back line that started the Edinburgh game.

Horua has dropped out of the forwards and there’s a few more decisions to be made in the pack though it’s likely that the impressive Tuohy will start in second row with McComb dropping out of the squad altogether. I suspect that Diack will start in place of Henry who will join Anderson on the bench. I also think that Court will get a run out from the bench at the expense of Declan Fitzpatrick.

My team for Connacht would read –

(1 – 8) Young, Kyriacou, Botha, Tuohy, O’Donoghue, Ferris, Faloon, Diack. (9 – 15) Boss (c), Humphreys, Danielli, Wallace, Cave, Nagusa, Schifcofske. (16 – 22) Brady, Court, Anderson, Henry, Marshall, Whitten, Trimble.

Rugby at the Rosie.

If you can’t make it to Galway the Rosie will be showing the match live on Friday night. In an event sponsored by The FRU and the URSC there will be match tickets and hopefully other goodies on offer in a free draw.

Check back tomorrow for more details.
