The University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee Lady Panthers are back kicking ass!
It’s a big season for the Ulster lovin’ girls from Wisconsin who, through their coaching contacts with Justin Fitzpatrick Rugby, got promoted last season to become the only Midwest Division I Collegiate Women’s program in Wisconsin!
The girls have already laid down a strong marker for the coming season by successfully defending their Claymore Trophy last weekend at the Wisconsin Scottish Highland Games Rugby Tournament in Waukesha County Expo Center.
The Panthers had outstanding wins over UW-Whitewater 37-0, University of Wisconsin 39-0, Marquette University 44-0 and Winona State University 20-10. The wins were particularly satisfying as the team featured plenty of exciting new players.
The girls will be in action again this weekend with a challenging match against the strong Chicago Women RFC.

October 3 – At University of Northern Iowa – Time TBA (League)

October 24 – Hosting Minnesota @ Nagawaukee – Kick off 12:30pm (League)
October 31 – Hosting University of Illinois @ Minooka – Kick off 12:30pm (League)
November 7 – League Playoffs Semi Finals
November 14 – League Playoffs Final
As before we’ll be keeping you up to date with the girls progress and if things go according to plan we should have some of the girls over for the January Heineken Cup fixtures against Edinburgh and Bath. If we can swing it, it should mean a return appearance at Ravenhill for UWM Lady Panthers try scoring legend Brittany Biedenbender! On her last appearance at Ravers, The Bied, fresh from scoring 18 tries in six games, had a few words with Tommy Bowe that set him on his rise to stardom!

About the calendar comment. Yes, we are!! We are currently working on it and should have copies to sell once we are visiting in January! We will most likely ship them over earlier as well if they are completed before the new year! We are very excited to return to you crazy lads!
