Ulster Rugby have announced the team for Wednesday’s game against Italian powerhouses(!) Viadana.
Fielding one of the youngest teams in the history of world rugby Ulster are looking to give all squad members a run out before the season starts with youngsters Neil McComb, Jonny Shiels and Tommy Seymour all named in the starting XV and David McGregor, Chris Napier, Ian Porter and Jamie Smith on the bench.
The average age should increase by a few years when veteran Justin Fitzpatrick rumbles on in the second half to save the day!
There are further sprinklings of experience in the pack with Court, Brady, O’Donoghue and McCullough all starting a run out and it is expected that the reliable Brady will captain the side.
Kick off on Wednesday night is at 7.30pm with gates opening from 6pm. It should be an interesting game with plenty of new talent on view so get along if you can.
