Young Robbie Diack burst onto the scene from nowhere in 2006. So impressive have his performances been that there is hushed talk of him forcing his way into the Springbok team. A powerful number eight with an intelligent reading of the game and outstanding skills Diack has a big future in South African rugby.

Robbie Diack brought a new dimension to the Stormers at No.8, especially his cover play. I see a strong resemblance with Morne du Plessis in his youth. Diack is just bigger and stronger.
