The Panthers won their first game, against University of Washington 62 – 0. They were drawn against University of Indiana in the second round but the girls lost their focus against their local rivals and took a bit of a pounding 82 – 0.
The girls were hampered by injuries (and a night in Nashville) for their game against Ohio State University and they lost 22 – 12. However the tournament gave the coaching team a chance to look at new players. With the oldest player this weekend being the ancient Mollie Martin (below) (I should be that old) the Panthers had a lot of sophomore and freshmen on display (College Year 1 and Year 2) so things are looking good for next season.

Rest assured that we’ll get some pictures sent over when the girls return to Milwaukee. (That should keep Colzo happy!)
