Matt Williams has blended youth with experience in his selection for the game against Connacht tomorrow night. Front five hard men Del Fava and Fitzpatrick return in a team chosen to dominate the Westerners up front.
Williams has kept faith with youngster O’Connor and the relatively inexperienced Court who appear to have come through the road trips to Cork and Swansea with their confidence intact.
In this must win game, Williams has gone for three strong line out options with McCullough, Harrison and Del Fava indicating a strategy where Ulster will kick for the corners early and hope to dominate the Connacht line out. The Ulster backs look to have an advantage over their counterparts in attack and could cut loose later in the game.
With a strong bench expect Ulster to pull away in the last 20.
