Cooke narrowly lost this All Ireland Cup semi-final in an exciting game at Shaw’s Bridge.
Clonmel were able to play the blustery conditions better and kept the ball in their big pack scoring a try and a penalty in the first half and another try in the second.
Cooke came back with two penalties in the second half and they put the Clonmel line under intense pressure in the last ten minutes. However the South Tipperary side held on for a deserved win.
