Ulster A gained revenge against Munster A today with a 6 – 10 win at Temple Hill. Ulster should have won by a more comfortable margin with Seamus Mallon coming close in the second half after a Paul McKenzie try and Kieran Hallet conversion in the first half.
Hallet slotted a drop goal in the second half and with Justin Fitzpatrick, Matt Miles and Grand Webb coming on to beef up the pack Ulster held on for a comfortable win.
“Should have been more!” Justin Fitzpatrick.
